Very pleasant short session in the blazing hot sunshine on the bath-water. Sort of sail you dream of when back home, perfectly powered up cruising over clear blue water.

Wasn´t windy enough for my 4.6 and couldn´t be arsed to re-rig my 5.2. Some clients were taking a long lunch so nicked some of the brand new 2003 stuff they were renting. Was perfectly powered up on the 5.3, and the board was great - easy to sail and super smooth, gliding over the short sharp chop as if it wasn´t there. Definitely the right board for the conditions, better than the 78L wave which would have been too small and much less smooth in the chop. More volume meant easier gybing as well, plus a couple of nice jumps thrown in for good measure. Didn´t stay out for too long because didn´t want to come back and meet the clients waiting for their kit, which wouldn´t have looked good. In the end though they didn´t turn up at all so could have stayed out for longer....oh well.
